Ⅳ. Application Procedures

(1) Learn more about the school and the programs of YU. Get information about university and programs, then read details in our website before starting your application. Make a decision on which program and which degree you are going to apply for.

(2) Register in YU online application system. Upload all necessary documents in YU online application system, which is yangtzeu.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx, including transcripts, application form (Word format), passport, etc. All documents should be scanned complete, clear and colorful by the scanner instead of phone camera.

(3) Get the admission notice. YU will send you admission notice to your email if your application documents are qualified and you pass the interview (for scholarship students and postgraduates). If something wrong with materials, YU will back and ask you to resubmit.

(4) Get the result. Usually, it takes 2-3 weeks to get visa documents (JW202 form) from the government.

(5) Pay the fee. Finish payment to YU bank account. Please send us the scanned copy of the receipt after payment.

(6) Prepare for your travel to China. If you get all visa documents, you can prepare visa application and flight booking. Please inform the admission office the details of your travel 7 days before your departure to China.

Ⅴ. Others

(1) If you just finish your previous study and now are still in China, you ought to keep the visa valid on your own before coming to YU. Without official register and clear fee, you cannot announce yourself as YU student. Moreover, extending new visa often takes 1 week, so you need to manage your schedule well.

(2) No matter what reasons, never register at YU with nearly expired visa or visit immigration office at Jingzhou, Hubei to extend visa without permission. If that happen, we will cancel your admission and report this issue to your embassy.
