On May 27, 2022, the First International Postgraduate Students’ Academic Forum was successfully held with the third presentation.
The lecture was delivered by FRIMPONG ISAAC ATTA, a Ghanaian master's student from the Department of Agricultural and Forestry Economics and Management, and the topic of the lecture was "A Study of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) on Agricultural Productivity Improvement in Africa (Ghana)". The presentation introduced the status of China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in Africa and the cases of agricultural productivity improvement in Africa (Ghana) under this initiative, and focused on the future development prospects of BRI in Africa (Ghana). At the end of the presentation, Atta interacted with the offline and online postgraduates and answered questions from each of them. LIPEKENE PAULINE LINDENDE, a freshman from DRC, said excitedly, "I had heard about China's Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) before, and after listening to this presentation, I further understood the practical benefits of BRI for African countries and people. I want to learn Chinese well and contribute to China-Africa cooperation after graduation."
The first academic forum for international students’ postgraduates was held to improve the quality of international student education and enhance the academic exchange among postgraduates during the epidemic. The success of the three presentations created a good academic atmosphere among international postgraduate students, strengthened mutual communication and enriched the study and life of international postgraduate students.
